Hello Henk,

When using Xcircuit v3.8 rev17 on windows10, SVG export gives an error when
"<" or ">" is used in text. It looks like "<"and ">" are not escaped to
&lt; and &gt;

I didn't notice that one.  Thanks for reporting it.  The HTML character
encoding is just a simple table in svg.c and very easy to fix.  I have
pushed the correction to the xcircuit git database (github mirror and
tarball will update overnight tonight).
