For about the last week, I've been getting the following messages in my Xcode
console whenever I run my projects:

2014-10-27 18:34:27.736 MyApp [1187:89888] plugin com.getdropbox.dropbox.garcon
interrupted

I know that garcon is a plugin belonging to Dropbox, and that at least one of
its roles is to stick those big green circle ticks all over Finder views of
Dropbox folders.

For that reason, I tried disabling the plugin via Terminal (plugin -e ignore -i
com.getdropbox.dropbox.garcon), alas to no avail. The messages continue (with
the added annoyance that the plugin now fills up the regular Console.app with
error messages...)

My questions are:

i. Has anyone else seen this issue in Xcode (googling didn't return any
results)?
ii. How on earth is this plugin inserting its messages into the runtime logging
of my projects in Xcode's console?

and most importantly of all

iii. short of uninstalling Dropbox and all its associated crud (I'm close to
having had it with this app/service anyway, but that's another story), is there
some other way to resolve this issue?

TIA

Phil
