I tried it out and got no further than you. In my case however, and I tried both OSX and iPhone, there was a little, tiny, teeny weeny warning triangle at the bottom right hand side of the instrument which told me “This device does not support this instrument”. I have not yet found a device, Mac with OSX, iOS simulator nor iOS device which doesn’t display that warning and I’ve tried all of them on 3 different apps.
