I'm writing a paper this week detailing some distinctions between Android
and iOS security and while in the research/assembling phase, I find myself
really taking advantage of the "Review" features in Word. Specifically, I'm
leaving lots of comments for things I need to elaborate on or come back and
visit later.

To see these comments, Word hides or displays a gutter on the right hand
side - so I can sit back and read the paper fresh from time to time and
then go back in and update, add or delete the comments.

Does anyone know if Xcode does this? or, does a plugin for Xcode do this?
Or ... does a separate tool altogether do this that I could leave open just
to add and read my meta comments? Specifically, I really like the light,
balloon style, non-intrusive capability that Word exhibits in real time.

I did just take a look at Atlassian's Crucible but I don't think that is
what I want.

Thanks,
-Luther
