Hi Tibor, If you don't mind spending the time to set up a development environment on your computer it should be fairly straightforward to add support for a new custom protocol for your own personal build of XCSoar, alternatively it may be possible to avoid code modifications by mimicking the NMEA strings sent by an already-supported device. This is probably a conversation better suited for the xcsoar-devel list, would you mind reposting the question there?
On a more general note, the DIY-UAV guys are coming up with some very exciting open-source hardware, it's an area worth watching!
