That new feature will need some careful testing, which means the beta version is delayed for a few days. The Altair users get a new build for the first time: this release comes with a ZIP file for the Altair. See my download page for installation instructions. Unlike PDAs, you can only have one XCSoar version installed at a time; you can't switch to an older version during the flight if 6.0 fails (unless you carry an USB stick with older firmware around).
