Wait a minute... you loaded the CUP file as TXT in the Airfields file 
box?! And it loaded fine???
Sorry, but I have my doubts about that! :D

The Airfields file is meant as an additional file that holds longer 
description texts for all possible waypoint (originally only airports), 
but it is not another waypoint file. Loading a cup file in that filebox 
shouldn't work at all... If you keep the extension to CUP it should show 
up in the waypoints 1/2 boxes and load fine there, but please dont try 
to load as an airfields file!

I think we need a label change here... I would suggest "WP Details file" 
or something like that...
