The LK8000 project (which is a fork of the old XCSoar 5 code base) has been approved for IGC file validation at xcontest.org (see http://www.postfrontal.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4673). Since LK8000 uses XCSoar's G-Record library, the same is true for XCSoar. xcontest.org has just upgraded their validation to XCSoar 6. John has agreed that he'll implement xcontest.org scoring rules in XCSoar. That means, XCSoar 6.1 will show you the xcontest.org score live while you fly in an InfoBox (just like we show OLC score in version 6.0, live and without a manual "Optimize" button).
