Hi Sascha,

I have taken a look and your waypoint file indeed used a coordinate format that we didn't consider.
So far what we are able to parse in a WinPilot/Cambridge file was:
DD:MM:SS
DD:MM.mmm
and now in addition:
DD:MM.mm
DD:MM.mmmm

This should be fixed in either v6.0.8 and the upcoming v6.1

I'll have a look at it. This is probably just a problem with our file parser...

Dear all,
I hope this is the correct way of asking for help... although I am using XCSoar since ca. 2007 I haven't had a problem, which I was not able to solve by myself. Recently I have upgraded from Version 5.2.2. to 6.0.7 and was not able to use my original waypointfile anymore (.dat Cambridge 302 format). I finally resolved the problem by generating a file in Cambrigde 10 etc. format. The only difference is that in the original file (which worked with 5.2.2) the LON / LAT information is stored with 4 decimals and the new one (which now works with 6.0.7) contains only 3 decimals.
Here an example:
Original file (4 decimals) (WP_GER2.dat)
* Cambridge (Series 300) file generated by StrePla (driver Version 1.00)
*
1,50:49.3831N,006:11.1830E,189M,AT,AACHE,122.875 Flug
New file (3 decimals) (WP_GER.dat)
* Cambridge (Model 10, 20 & 25) file generated by StrePla (driver Version 1.02)
*
1,50:49.383N,006:11.183E,189M,AT,AACHE,122.875 Flug
Also I have attached the respective files as a whole.
Does anyone know why I am not able to use the original file anymore and can help?
Thank you very much.
Regards,
Sascha
