I just looked it up and found one software that was FlarmViewer by Butterfly but it appears no longer available, and the other I can't find it no more. AFAIR a club mate brought it up and it was also free as in beer. I also heard about a current project where a similar software, using Flarm data, is used to automatically record landings and takeoffs at an airfield. I'be surprised if it didn't have a display to monitor the current traffic situation, though that one is most probably commercial.
I'd already be quite happy with free as in beer ... ;0) though I understand the difference, but then that's okay as long as one's sufficiently drunk.
