Hi Peter the problem is that you are using the wrong setting ;)
"InfoBox Geometrie" is just setting where the infoboxes should be but that setting doesn't change from portrait to landscape mode or the other way around. It is depending on the orientation that was configured somewhere else. I'm not sure whether we have an orientation setting on Android (there is on some Windows Mobile platforms) but XCSoar should use the orientation that the device had when you started XCSoar. So if you want landscape then put your device in landscape mode before starting XCSoar...
