Hi Andre
1) Somehow the URL seems to redirect to the wrong place. I notified the
server admin to take care of it. Thanks!
Background information: We are currently moving the MapGen to a new and
faster server. This seems to be causing some hickups lately, but I'm
confident that those will be gone once we've moved completely.
2) A XCM file is basically a ZIP file and if you unpack it, you will
find an info.txt file that holds some information on the map, including
the creation date.

Hi everyone,
Can anyone help with two MapGen questions?
1)When clicking on MapGen (on XCSOAR web page), I get transferred to a
totally different web page (http://de.de/sonstiges)
How can a start the new map generator ?
2)If I wanted to download an existing map (Germany for example), how
can I tell how up to date it is (new format since map gen update,
waypoint data, etc.)?
Thanks,
Andre
