Hi Stefan, right now the calculations are done to the center of the cylinder. We had a solution for a short time for this problem but it turned out that it kinda broke some other stuff and we took that change back for now. Unfortunatly our master of the task engine John is currently concentrating his resources on a different topic, but we hope to fix this quite soon. When the next season here in Europe starts we should be able to calculate to the right spot. If I am not mistaken a ticket for that already exists in our bug tracker.
I hope that this answer satisfies you. When we change the code to allow the cylinder border finish we will explicitly mention that in the release post.
