Hi Rob

first of all I think it would be a good idea if we could comment on
each change seperatly somehow. I would prefer a comment function
directly on the mockup page if that is possible.

Other than that there are a few things I don't like about the changes:

1) The tabs in the Task dialog should stay at the top. This is a
common design rule and users are used to tabs being at the top. The
Close button as part of the tabs isn't that perfect anyway but the
rest of the UI shouldn't suffer from that button being in the wrong
corner.

2) I think the Close button should be in the right bottom corner
because it will usually be the last thing you want to hit. That means
for most of us left-to-right top-to-bottom readers it should be
positioned on the right side and at the bottom. There is an exception
though for example in dialog with Close and Cancel or Select and
Cancel. Since Select/Close are actually the more relevant buttons they
should be position "before" the Cancel button.

And while we're at it we should revise the button sizes. Buttons
should be at least as big as a finger width to be able to press them
properly...
