Only lift while circling is considered for AutoMC.  AutoMC is not
capable of determining the best MacCready setting for lifts other
circling in thermals.  That is out of the scope of MacCready's theory
anyway, and would need new measures.

It uses a low-pass filter, and will automatically adapt to changes in
thermal strength during the day.
