You might want to back up what you have now, before updating to 6.2. I've installed 6.1 and 6.2 on a 3950, 3850, and a 3870. Screen updates were very very slow, it it would hang momentarily from time-to-time. I don't recall it ever completely crashing though. I have a Dell Streak now, that I plan to run 6.3 on*, but for really critical flights, I use my iPAQ 3950 with 5.2.4. It's been stone axe reliable for me for since it first came out.
