I have not yet tried to download to my laptop using XCSoar, besides LXe performs that task flawlessly and is the method I am using now. I am trying to eliminate that step and download directly to the Streak as you would with the other supported devices. Also having the ability to upload contest tasks directly from the Streak to the LX5000 reduces the chances of double entry errors and makes in the air task changes a lot simpler and less error prone. Previously using a PDA and connectMe I had this functionality. On the other hand I could just ignore the task in the LX5000 and use only the GPS, airspeed and vario but I am not at that stage yet, the 5000 is still a great backup and produces very reliable information.
My original question was when and I guess the answer is sometime. I'll keep playing with different baud rates to see if I can get it to work. Thanks for the info. -- View this message in context: http://xcsoar.1045713.n5.nabble.com/LX5000-to-Streak-IOIO-connection-upload-download-tp5672869p5673222.html Sent from the xcsoar-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
