I had the same problem with a declared task on 13 May. XCsoar detected
the start of the task, but not making the first turnpoint (I had to
advance it manually with the menus). It did, however, detect making the
second turnpoint and the task finish. I was about the same distance from
the 1st turnpoint as the second. I was running the WM5 version 6.3.1 in
flight.

Just been trying 6.3.3 in SIM mode on my PC, prior to loading it on the
Altair this weekend, and found the following:
When I run a task using 6.2.6, the screen advances - correctly - to the
next waypoint as I enter the sector.
This does not happen with 6.3.3.? Nothing has changed - same .prf, same
task, etc, the only difference is that I'm running the 6.3.3 .exe.
?
Is this just in the PC version?? Is there a new setting I'm unaware of?
?
Thanks
Steve
