I experience the same problem. In my case the Flarm signal is routed through an
LX minimap. Did not try it (yet) in another configuration in which Flarm is
directly connected to my PDA.

Not something I have tried sorry. In theory the Flarm through Vega is
just pass through, so if XCSoar can do it, should just work. Unless XCSoar in
the Vega driver is not sending the data through.

Does the Vega/Altair say Flarm error all the time, or only when doing
the task download? e.g. do you get FLARM Radar etc.
