Hi All I have been using a IOIO card to connect my Dell Streak to my Flarm and Borgelt flight computer. I have built a small converter circuit to match the voltage levels between the RS232 signals and the IOIO logic signals.
This is similar to Rob's design but it caters for two external devices. It also makes use of "IGC" standard RJ45 plugs to power external devices. Rob, Max and the rest of the developers have put a lot of time into XCSoar, so in return, I have documented my efforts to try and add something to the project.
