I just tested the newly released 6.3.7 and it appears to contain the same
bug as 6.3.5 and 6.3.6.

In my initial email I forgot to mention that once you have successfully set
up an AAT task and then add an additional Turn Area, this turn area also
exhibits the same behaviour until you go through the whole racing task -
exit flight planner - go back in - change back to AAT - exit.  When this is
done after task is started all speed calculations are lost...

I have tried submitting a ticket in trac but I get "Internal Server Error"
