I tried the Galaxy S3 with XCSoar 6.4. It worked well both with the 
built-in GPS and with the FLARM and CAI302 via IOIO (with F/W 3.24).

However the display doesn't come close to the Dell Streak 5. In bright 
sunlight the S3 is barely readable. I would buy a (used) Streak 5 unless 
you find a shady place in your glider. :-)
