Hi, Helmut

I used the following to update my Streak 5 to Android 2.3.7 and I went 
further to root the device (give it Superuser privilege).  It works very 
well!

For the update I used the latest official ROM and recovery (407) from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Dell_Streak_5 and followed the
instructions from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23527490&postcount=216
