Thanks for the heads up Scott. A lot of fellow pilots had the same problem with 
the old PDA's in sunny Queensland and since it got to 44deg yesterday it's a 
valid point. What version are you currently running on your Altair and are you 
having the same dramas as me? I will try to fault find some more tonight as I 
took the glider with me again. 

I flew with 6.4.5 yesterday off the USB and it ran great without any noticeable 
bugs. Hopefully I can get closer to the problem of running directly from the 
Altair tonight.
