It sounds to me as if you've managed to corrupt the SD card. This is
easy to do because the FAT filing system is rather fragile. It is very
easily damaged by incorrect shutdowns, especially powering off while a
program is still running. Plug the SD card into a PC and run CHKDSK on
it. 

If CHKDSK reports errors you can try repairing the disk (use the /p
and /r options and see if that fixes the problem.

However, the best approach is to reformat the SD card and then do a
clean reinstall of XCSoar and LK8000. 

If you have a safety copy of the SD card contents on your hard drive you
can simply put them back. If not, after a clean install, configure the
programs to suit your PNA and your preferences and then make a copy of
the SD card contents on your hard drive AND BACK IT UP: this will make
recovery much easier next time your SD card gets damaged or lost.
