Definitely no action at all. My Dell is mounted in easy reach, which is good, but it is very easy to touch inadvertently while flying, particularly while inputting gestures. The Dell is very sensitive and immediately opens a dialog window. When this happens I have to look at the screen to see what I have done, find and press a "Cancel" button then go back to what I was doing before I started. When flying a few wingspans (or less) away from a ridge or thermalling in a gaggle, there is no time for this distraction. Sometimes I end up going without XCSoar information, like Flarm Radar, for a while, before I have a chance to start again. On the other hand, it is not often that I want to interact with the map. When I do it is a deliberate action that requires focusing on the map and identifying the feature. A long press is also a deliberate action and not an additional burden. (I normally stabilise my hand with a few fingers behind the Dell when I need to input a long press.) >> - I am fortune to fly in thermic, ridge and wave lift.
