These angles are indeed a problem. We will implement a numeric
keyboard for entering such values in the future, but unfortunately the
day only has 24 hours and this is not our dayjob :-/

Aside from that, what you describe is not an "sector with internal
radius" although I admit that the name might suggest it. The "sector
with internal radius" is used for "sector" areas with a certain area
cut out from the middle. For example half a ring or something like
that. What you are looking for is called a "keyhole" sector, but
unfortunately XCSoar is not supporting those in AATs yet, and in
racing tasks only with predefined radiuses that are used frequently in
the UK and Germany. If you write a ticket for that, I'll see what I
can do about it. I agree that the whole task system of XCSoar is not
flexible enough yet in some areas.
