Hi Max,

Apologies for the delay in asking this.

Re: Next Radial ATC infobox

Thank you for this feature. I imagined that the bearing would be
reported in degrees Magnetic rather than True? IIRC a radial from a
VOR is reported in °M: what info have I missed about the XCSoar
choice of True bearing?

I know that by displaying the "Next waypoint" Infobox I can also
display the waypoint name beside this new "Radial ATC" infobox. I
guess it would be possible to develop an additional infobox that
could combine waypoint name, radial and distance?

Further, I imagine it might be possible for a (new) infobox to
display name, radial and distance to a user selected "reference
point", such as a VOR or significant geographic feature, that is
selected independently from a task or "next" waypoint? Such a
"reference point" might be retained for a whole flight or series of
flights from a particular airfield.

All this is starting to sound like an excellent development exercise
for a newbie like me given the existing code is close to the new
feature ;). I appreciate any thoughts you have before I embark upon
such an exercise and/or writing an enhancement ticket.

Regards,
Neil
