Thanks Helmut. Good point. I'll try this. However, I'm inclined to believe it's not a H/W problem: getting the list of flight works 50/50. If there was an open connection on the TX path, it would never work.
The configuration is this: FLARM and CA302 connected to IOIO (DroidSoar which is a IOIO clone with serial line drivers/receivers) IOIO connected to Dell Streak 5 Android version: 2.3.7 IOIO H/W: SPRK0016 IOIO Bootloader: IOIO304 IOIO Firmware: IOIO0330 (The above reported by "IOIO Hardware Tester" app.) What is your configuration? Replies from Sascha and Dan indicated they are using BT connections, not IOIO. This is probably using very different protocol stack(s).
