I agree with kimmo.
So many people must have purchased or built IOIO systems by now, and it is 
surely a much more elegant solution to have both power supply and data in a 
single neat cable
with no cutting of the Kobo case, extra components, or soldering required..
I understand that this is no trivial matter, and also that Max has indicated 
it may happen next winter, but urge any other capable developers to give it 
much thought as it would
make XCSoar and the Kobo Mini quickly accessible to many pilots.
