A generic File Manager API is another missing standard. It would be nice if, just like in MSWindows, one could implement in any application basic file functions like "delete, rename, propreties".
Of course it is trivial to reimplement them for each aplication, but they they will never have the look and feel of the default file manager. Does anybody hast any idea or sugestion ?
