shared-mime-info -> specification (or whatever) component > It would need both a (small) spec change and a code change. You'll need to attach patches for both if you want to see any movement on this (both to xdgmime and shared-mime-info's update-mime-database, as well as an additional testcase for shared-mime-info's test suite).
