Hi, Javadoc 1.4 have a new tag @inheritDoc that allows to copy the doc from the superclasses/methods in the doc of the class that is generated. Have somebody tried it ? I guess that with that a changed superclass will be seen by javadoc and the doc re-generated. It is the biggest problem today that we have to touch files to regenerate them in case a tag in a superclass have changed.
We could force users to have a superclass for their xdoclet classes and touch it to regenerate everything : the xdoclet-generated problem. Or have a xdoclet-version in it, ... Or we forgot completely javadoc in favour of xjavadoc ?
