Yes, the dependency is the reverse. Xdoclet depends on Ant and xjavadocs, xjavadocs depends on JavaCC only. Xdoclet/whatever prepares the file list and passes it on to xjavadoc, it's not important for xjavadoc whether a dirscanner is used or not by xdoclet.
