Summary: XDoclet depends on X on Linux

Initial Comment:

I have a test linux server that does not have X
installed and I have attached the exception that
results when I try to build. Everything is fine on a
box with X installed and is also fine on the test
server if I set the DISPLAY environment variable to
point at a machine with X installed.

Colin Daly.

What's XDoclet GUI got to do with anything. We don't use
XDoclet GUI and all we are doing is an ANT build on the server.
I'm sure you're right that XDoclet GUI depends on Swing and
Swing depends on X but why does XDoclet depend on XDoclet GUI?

Colin.

This has nothing to do with XDoclet, but with XDoclet GUI
depending on Swing, and Swing needs X. No way around it.
