Hi, I'm back from vacation :-) Btw, you were to write a *long response* to my chunk/etc email. I'm ready to continue discussing xdoclet2 architecture.

Looks good, but remember we don't have permission to upload anything to ibiblio. We should upload the jars to our remote repo. I'm working with dIon to sort out some issues regarding the maven plugin and the jars, so any idea/thought/trick is welcome. Btw Aslak do you know how Maven manages different versions of a maven plugin? I means can we have a 1.2b1/1.2b2/etc in maven's remote repo? How does it handle dependency to different versions of jars (say different versions of xdoclet-ejb-module.jar) from different versions of the same plugin? The project.xml of the plugin has <dependency/> elements to specific versions of jars. Will redefining the <dependency/> to point to another version of a jar in project.xml of your project (not xdoclet maven plugin) make Maven use that version of the jar? Btw, xdoclet activity% is very low atm, what's the reason? What do you think about our next beta release? Is xdocletgui going to be included? blabla?
