Just 'cos they're old doesn't mean they're not bugs.  If it's stuff that
we need more info in order to fix, and we haven't had any (i.e. the
third case you mention), then that's fair enough and we should close
them as Incomplete or Cannot Reproduce.  Otherwise leave 'em open. 
Somebody might fix them one day.
