Key: XDT-662
Summary: anchor links in tag reference docs don't deal with multi-level tags
Type: Bug
Status: Assigned
Priority: Major
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: XDoclet
Components:
Documentation
Versions:
1.2 Beta 3
Assignee: xdoclet-devel (Use for new issues)
Reporter: James Cameron Cooper
Created: Thu, 2 Oct 2003 7:24 PM
Updated: Sun, 16 Nov 2003 6:06 PM
Environment: web
Description:
The generated documentation for Xdoclet tags (from the xtags files) has an issue with
in-page anchor links to tags that are present in both class and method (and presumably
any two scopes). Namely that the anchors are named after the tag name, and so can (try
to) refer to two or more distinct anchors in the document.
Only the first anchor in that document with that name will be used.
For example, go to the @ejb tag reference and click on the class-level
@ejb.persistence then go back and click on the method-level @ejb.persistence. You are
taken to the same place each time, although for the second link, you should have been
taken to a different (although identically name) anchor further down the page.
