I decided to join the xdoclet developers list because I would like to develop a new module for a framework.
I have read the information on the website and I have downloaded the current xdoclet source distribution.
What I would like is if anyone can point out to me any additional resources that I can take advantage of in order to get started.
This is my first attempt at contributing to an open source framework. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

1) Download the xdoclet-plugins sources via CVS: http://sourceforge.net/projects/xdoclet-plugins
2) Build it with Maven.
3) Have a look at some source code.
