Just FYI, we've decided to move away from XDoclet due to this outstanding
issue. We have moved to Hibernate 3 and are manually maintaining *.hbm.xml
files until Hibernate 3 annotations become mature enough for our usage. This
frees us up to use Java 1.5 syntax in our Hibernate classes.
