Here are the options, as I see it.
1) Roll back the whole change. Util objects don't work with topics, at all.
2) Eliminate backwards compabitiliby (with pre 1.4 J2EE), topics and queues
both work, you don't have to specify destination-type.
3) Require destination-type to be specified, system works with topics and
queues in both J2EE 1.4 and 1.3.
I like the third option the best, what do you guys think?
Also, I'll make the generic methods (message producers and consumers exist even
under 1.3). I want to make the queue type methods NOT exist under a topic based
Util object, as they wouldn't have worked in the past anyway, so we aren't
breaking any previously working software.
Do you think this is a good idea?

Description:
MDB util objects always create getQueue(...) methods that return a queue, even
when the MDB itself is based on a topic. I have a fix in hand for this, but I
want to test it too.
This fix will also fix the "cached homes should be volatile" bug.
