2 latest are 1.5 & 1.6-SNAPSHOT - you may try to
 swap dependency in plugin  and see whether it works

( I'm constained to 1.4 by my customes )
The version of qdox dependency in the maven plugin is actually newer than the qdox 1.5 and 1.6-SNAPSHOT jars, as far as I can tell. I tried using the 1.6-SNAPSHOT and no luck. Perhaps the person using generics and the xdoclet2 plugin could be contacted, because I'm at a lose.
