I'm no longer interested in using xdoclet with wls, I'm _using_ xdoclet with
wls ;-)

I wrote most of the WLS stuff. It's in the XDoclet 1.1 distro on
SourceForge --> http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xdoclet/xdoclet-v1.1.zip

No prob. See the docs in the distro or here -->
http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net/weblogic.html

You need to make a file called weblogic-security-role-assignment.xml and put
it in <some_directory>.
Then, in your <weblogic> Ant subtask of <ejbdoclet> you must specify
mergedir="<some_directory>".

Security roles are not defined using @tags, as this is global stuff, and it
would make little sense to define them in, say, OrderBean since security
roles apply to all EJBs in an ejb jar file.

Hope this helps, and have fun with XDoclet!

Aslak
