It might have something to do with the current directory of Java process. Eclipse will set the current directory to eclipse/workspace, not the directory of ant build file. Qihua and Mike, would you try to use absolute class path in EJBDoclet task definition and let us know the results?  I am not suggesting it as solution, but would like to confirm the theory. I have seen the difference in other ant tasks before.

I have the same problem. What platform are you on? For me, it only seems to happen on Windows/Cygwin. Works unmodified on *nix. I run from Ant on cmd line and from NetBeans. I posted this problem last week to this list, but only got 'check your classpath' as a response. I don't see how it could be a classpath problem when the containing class (DocletTask) is obviously being loaded. It seems like a classloader issue, but I am pretty new to XDoclet, so I don't know. Haven't had time to dig into the source.

I use eclipse to run ant file which include ejbdoclet task.But every time
the error message is the same :
      can not find class xdoclet.DocletTask$DocletMain
    When I use winrar to unzip the xdoclet.jar. It is true that
xdoclet.DocletTask$DocletMain class file really exists in the
xdoclet.jar(And of course I include the xdoclet.jar in the classpath).what
is the problem?
