Hi all! We are currently developing a BIG system in J2EE. So far we have used Xdoclet (1.1.2) with Ant and NetBeans, deploying to JBoss 2.4.4. And it's working very well. Before I dwelve into what this mail is relly supposed to be about I would like to extend a collective "Thank You!" from me and my co-developers to all Xdoclet developers out there! We have had so much use of Xdoclet; I really can't tell how much time it has saved us. You guys rock! :)
But as of now I am facing the challenge of deploying/converting/generating the project to deploy to Oracle9iAS (Orion/OC4J). I have taken a little time reviewing the tasks etc. for Orion and I am a little curious as of how up to date they are. I will be using/deploying to the "brand new" 9.0.3 (developer preview) version, i.e. the certified version. Therefore I would just like to ask the community out there if there is anyone who has successfully used Xdoclet (maybe the cvs version?) with this version of Orion/OC4J and what the general status is on the Orion front. The reason I'm asking is just to get a grip on the situation/status so that I can estimate the time needed to pursue this effort. If Orion support does not have a high priority (I don't see much Orion-related traffic on this list) I would just like to know that.
