I am fairly new to xdoclet so hopefully this question isn't too obvious :)
I have a fairly large db that I have reserve engineered with middlegen and am now generating ejb's and the struts files for. I'm sticking with a modified version of the ant build file from the middlegen sample to start things. The generated bean files are generated with create methods as expected; one with a primary key only; one with pk and all persistent fields. The problem is that the generated struts insert..Action forms require a create without the primary key field. A primary key generate method was created for each of the bean classes in the util class so I'm guessing the create call in the local home should have a constructor that accepts persistent fields only and adds a call to the pk generator. I'm using the a version of xdodclet from cvs about 3 days ago, with oracle and jboss if that matters. . I have looked through the available tags for the webdoclet task but none seem appropriate to describe method of pk generation.. (I'm guessing that's the area of the problem), Am i missing something obvious ?
