Hi,
Sun themselves don't seem to have a standard!
Take a look at:
http://java.sun.com/blueprints/code/jps131/api/
<http://java.sun.com/blueprints/code/jps131/api/>
You will see, for example,
<http://java.sun.com/blueprints/code/jps131/api/com/sun/j2ee/blueprints/addr
ess/ejb/AddressLocalHome.html> AddressLocalHome
Also the page in question you mentioned says: "the conventions for the
example beans of this tutorial"
So the convention is only for the tutorial......no?
Chris

FWIW, I too prefer the XDoclet way.

Subject: SV: [Xdoclet-user] XDoclet and Sun's Naming conventions.
Can it be that Sun's naming convention for local and localhome suck? :-)
I prefer to name my beans, just as XDoclet does, with local and localhome as
suffix. In that way I get my beans in alphabetical order in my development
tools.
Regards Peter

There seems to be small differences in the Naming conventions from Sun's
web site, below, and those produced by XDoclet. Could the XDoclet team
comment on this? Are there plans to line up with the Sun conventions?
ex: take a look at Local Homes
xdoclet => [name]LocalHome
Sun => Local[name]Home
Thanks.
