Well, maybe you should put a simple note in the main install docs (actually,
"Using XDoclet" might be better) that point to the vendor-specific
sub-tasks. Maybe "If you want XDoclet to generate vendor-specific config
files, please check the <href>Ant Task Reference</href> for that vendor".

I'd recommend that you not simply say "you need this" but tell the user
where to get the required information. :)
