Could anyone suggest a solution to the following problem. I'm trying to find the simplest and lowest maintenance way of sub-classing an entity bean in order to produce a read-only version (using the @jboss.read-only tag) of the exactly the same bean. The read-only version should have exactly the same methods on the local and localhome interface and use the same table for persistence. I've tried various combinations of tags with varying degrees of success but I've yet to achieve a combination which doesn't involve maintaining tags or code in both classes. Can anyone help?
