It's currently in a functional alpha stage, and there will be several releases. A rough guesstimate on when you can expect it is: 2.0-alpha-1 : End of March 2.0-beta-1 : End of April 2.0-beta-2 : End of May ... 2.0-final : Sometimes this summer ? Don't take my word for it, I'm famous for breaking schedules. Also note that there won't be ANY plugins in XDoclet 2.0's codebase. Other projects will have to write them. For more info see the following threads: http://www.mail-archive.com/xdoclet-user%40lists.sourceforge.net/msg04621.ht ml http://www.mail-archive.com/xdoclet-user%40lists.sourceforge.net/msg04638.ht ml If your curious and not afraid, you can start playing with XDoclet 2 right now. It's in the xdoclet2 CVS module. Don't hesitate to ask questions about how to use it/build it, how the code works, things you'd like to see in it etc. etc.. We want to keep end users and plugin developers in the loop as early as possible, so we can improve things (design, code, docs) that aren't "intuitive".
